I very often have to relaunch HM3 whenever I change something in HM3 Site setting, or when I switch between graphical HUD and standard HUD because the stats disappear when I 'touch' the HM3 software while playing.

It works a little bit more often on 5 max tables, less often on full ring tables, maybe because there are 3 seats at the bottom I don't know. If you set the HM3 - My Seat to Specific Seat and choose the bottom center does it work?
